Just beside the harbor in Lillängshamnen, you’ll find Marguerite’s charcuterie and deli shop. It’s a genuine and friendly store where customers can buy fantastic charcuterie and deli platters, gifts, and freshly baked buns from their café.

What makes Marguerite’s unique is that they deliver catering on the same day the order is placed. They are also eager and usually add new, delicious products every week. This not only attracts new visitors but also challenges the taste buds of loyal customers with exciting new charcuterie and deli products.

It’s not just the range of products that makes Marguerite’s special, but also the warm and welcoming staff, Mark and Anna-Malin Hagen. They embrace their customers in a helpful and genuine way, always encouraging them to explore new flavors. With their experience and strong background in the restaurant industry, they offer a professional yet playful approach to their customers, which is greatly appreciated.

The Marguerite’s brand is closely tied to the owners, Mark and Malin, where their charm and professional approach come together in a pleasant combination. In the store, Marguerite’s feels professional, high-quality, and genuine. Unfortunately, they haven’t been able to convey these feelings through their other channels, such as social media and the website, creating a gap between the in-store experience and their online presence. Currently, their website feels unreliable and somewhat cheap, which we aim to change in order to better align it with both the charcuterie and high-end craftsmanship, as well as their strong brand in the physical store.

The high-quality products that Marguerite’s delivers today are not reflected accurately on their current website. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship and the work put into each platter aren’t showcased properly. Through a campaign video that highlights their raw ingredients and craftsmanship, we can raise the expectations for the brand in their digital channels, ensuring they meet the same standard and experience as customers get in-store.

We’ve strengthened Marguerite's brand by focusing on its core values: quality, experience, care, and passion. Through a storytelling campaign video, we’ve showcased the passion behind each charcuterie board, helping to connect emotionally with the audience.

To bridge the gap between the in-store and digital experience, we've worked to create a consistent brand presence across both, ensuring that customers have the same clear understanding of Marguerites no matter where they interact with it.

We’ve also refined the brand’s visual identity to position it in the right market segment, while still maintaining its family-friendly feel. Additionally, the new website aligns with these changes, ensuring the right expectations are set for both in-store and online experiences.

Role

This was a school project where we worked as a group, and I had the chance to take on the role of director, which I really enjoyed. I was responsible for the brand repositioning, customer relations, and guiding the direction for the design and campaign film based on insights from our research, making sure everything came together smoothly. I also worked on developing the website and did a lot of the filming
